GCD UPDATE (Printable version)
April 2008
Times, They are A Changin'
On Monday, March 31, 2008, GCD began operating under the new administrative structure that has been implemented to provide effective and efficient service under the new University financial system that will be in place July 2008.
Faculty should not notice much of a change with the new structure. Faculty will continue to work with their same accountant for account management and reporting; the same HR contact for hiring personnel; and their same pre-award support person for grant submissions.
If you need help or have questions in any of the areas, accounting, HR, or pre-award, please contact the appropriate manager: Terri Ritz (tritz@umn.edu) is the Center Director and is responsible for the overall administrative oversight of the different functions of the Center.
Jane Albeck (m-albe@umn.edu) is the Finance Manager.
Bev Retzlaff (retzl001@umn.edu) is the Human Resources Manager. Jeff Schaub (j-scha1@umn.edu) is the Pre-Award and Facilities Manager.
